History

 


1952 » Three partners establish the J.W. Anderson Company in Dundas, Ontario with the mission of serving the domestic water softening market.

 


1965 » Anderson expands into the industrial water treatment market, winning orders from Canadian customers.

 


1974 » Anderson becomes the first Canadian distributor for DuPont membranes.

 


1977 » Anderson builds first large RO in Canada; a 450 GPM system for SaskPower’s Boundary Dam Power Station.

 


1980 » Anderson pioneers the split-flow counter-current ion exchange process, while achieving a breakthrough into the United States market. The Company wins orders from leading organizations.

 


1985 » Five senior officers of the J.W. Anderson Company buy the company. A well planned restructuring effort ensures clients continue to entrust their confidence in the newly formed Anderson Water Systems Ltd.

 


1994 » Anderson wins major export orders in Southeast Asia, supplying multimillion dollar systems to Indonesia, Singapore, China and Thailand.

 


2000 » Infilco Degremont, Inc. acquires Anderson Water Systems on May 10, 2000.

 


2001 » Infilco Degremont becomes Ondeo Degremont Inc. on March 31, 2001. We’re part of the Ondeo Group, the largest group in the world dedicated to the business of water.

 


2013 » Anderson moves to new modern facilities in Ancaster, Ontario, Canada.

 


Today » Anderson continues to reinforce its presence in North America and internationally as a premium supplier of industrial water treatment solutions to leading organizations.
