AQUASOURCE Membranes Chosen for Desalination in South Korea


The ALTEON™ polysufone ultrafiltration membranes, promoted by ALLIANCE offer, has been awarded for the installation of a desalination system. The new plant will treat water coming from Yellow Sea with overall production of 5,000 m3/day and ultrafiltration membranes will be employed as pretreatment of reverse osmosis membranes.


With ALLIANCE, Aquasource offers its customers - water treatment equipment integrators (OEM) - the keys to design fast, reliable and competitive ultrafiltration systems of all sizes.
The flexibility and adaptability of this offer is advantageous to the customers needs, the application, and the geographical situation of the plant.


AQUASOURCE also received the certification of the KWWA (Korea Water and Wastewater Association) essential to the use of the ALTEON™ ultrafiltration membranes in the applications of production of drinking water in Korea.
