Biosolids


The industrialised nations are becoming increasingly concerned about the future of the various waste products resulting from their own development. Existing and forthcoming legislation and regulations will prohibit the dumping of this sludge in future. Added to this there is the economic impact and the lack of space around large conurbations.

This is why treatment of the sludge proves to be an interesting solution, particularly because it decreases the quantity of waste for disposal. It also avoids spreading of pollutants found in the sludge.

Thermal drying is one of several methods that can be used to reduce the volume and improve the quality of wastewater biosolids.

Thermal Oxidation is the only final and sustainable sludge disposal method. It is highly efficient, odor free and can generate useful heat for the production of process steam or electricity. The “Green” technology is proven, safe and environmental friendly.
